Meduloc Raises $4M Series B to Launch FDA-Cleared Fracture Fixation Platform
Meduloc has closed a $4 million Series B financing round led by GenHenn Capital, providing new funding to support the commercial rollout of its FDA-cleared orthopedic fracture fixation technology. The financing included participation from Life Sciences Greenhouse Investments (LSGI), Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Broad Street Angels, former Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star Andre Ethier, and a group of existing and new investors.
The West Chester, Pennsylvania-based medical device company develops a flexible nitinol intramedullary fracture fixation platform designed to stabilize long-bone fractures while preserving anatomy and avoiding joint violation in certain clinical applications. Its sterile, single-use system has received FDA clearance and is intended for use in both adult and pediatric patients across a range of upper- and lower-extremity fractures.
The newly raised capital will fund Meduloc’s controlled alpha launch, continued clinical evidence generation, and the commercial infrastructure needed to expand adoption of its fracture fixation platform. The company plans to begin the rollout in early August 2026 by partnering with a select group of orthopedic surgeons and healthcare institutions, gathering real-world clinical experience and physician feedback before pursuing broader commercialization.
The financing marks an important transition for Meduloc as it moves from product development and regulatory clearance into its commercial phase. Company President and CEO Sarah Sachinis said the investment enables Meduloc to establish a foundation for wider adoption across adult and pediatric fracture care while building meaningful clinical experience during the initial launch.
GenHenn Capital said Meduloc’s FDA clearance, encouraging early clinical experience, and experienced leadership team positioned the company at an important growth inflection point. The participation of multiple Pennsylvania-based investors also highlights continued support from the state’s life sciences investment ecosystem, particularly within the Greater Philadelphia region.
Former Major League Baseball All-Star Andre Ethier also joined the financing round, citing his personal experience with injuries during his professional career. Ethier said Meduloc’s technology has the potential to provide surgeons with another treatment option that could help patients return to their normal activities more quickly.
Orthopedic device companies have increasingly focused on minimally invasive fixation technologies that aim to improve surgical outcomes while reducing recovery time. As Meduloc begins commercial deployment, the company will use its controlled launch to collect additional clinical data, refine physician training, and validate real-world performance before expanding the platform to a broader market of orthopedic surgeons and healthcare providers.
